WARRI WOLVES “Physically and psychologically’’ ready for Al-Merrikh!

Warri Wolves hit-man, Kelvin Itoya, indicated that his side are “Physically and psychologically” prepared to face Al-Merrikh of Sudan, in the 1st round of the CAF Champions League billed Warri City Stadium, Nigeria, this Sunday (3pm Local Time).

“This is our first time playing in the CAF Champions League and we’ve resolved to make the most this opportunity. We are preparing ahead of the first round encounter with Al-Merrikh of Sudan. We’ve seen and heard so much about them,”.

“They are definitely a good side. They made the last four in the same competition last season and we heard that they are currently in Egypt to prepare for this match against us on Sunday.

“Physically and psychologically we are prepared though we know we’ve got to play at our best in each match because we have to beat the best to merge the best on the continent.”.

You will recall that the Nigerian side, Wolves, qualified for this stage after they walked over Sao Tome and Principe’s side, Sporting Club da Praia Cruz, who failed to show up for the first leg of the schedule in Nigeria.
