NBA FINALS – GAME 2:

By Michael D. Kilgore Sr.

The Golden State Warriors are playing so impressive we’re already hearing the whisper of a sweep. As we again witnessed another blowout, Cleveland looks lost. At times, showing life by cutting a double digit deficit, making it a ball game again. However, the Mighty Warriors had Cleveland’s King James and company searching for answers fast as Golden State basically never looked back after the half.

Kevin Durant had a game high 33 points and 13 rebounds as his teammate Stephen Curry posted a triple double for The Warriors. LeBron James with 29 points , 14 rebounds and 11 assist marked a triple double his self in a losing effort protested the podium after the game. Only talking to the media near the locker room. When asked why he wouldn’t take the podium for questions he replied “There is a reason for it. It’s has nothing to do with win or losses though.”   LeBron went on to say he is not sure what happened that they need to go back and look at the tape and to ask Coach Lue about a game 3 strategy.

Personally, The  Cavs look defeated. Cleveland’s Coach Lue stated at the podium taht Golden State is the best team he ever seen. I think with the way the Cavs are carrying themselves thus far, I definitely smell a sweep! At the end of game 2 Cleveland, it looked as if they almost wanted to admit that they can’t beat the Warriors.

Golden State wins its14th consecutive playoff game winning game 2, an NBA record. Last season it was the Cavs who tied the 1988 Lakers for a 13game playoff winning streak.

Game 3 is set for Wed at 9pm Eastern Standard Time. Coming to you live from Downtown Cleveland, Ohio!!!
