La Liga: Barcelona 6 (Rodriguez [own goal] 8, Munir 19, Neymar 32, 51, Messi 40, Turan 57) Getafe 0.
FC Barcelona extended their Liga lead in Camp Nou with fashion and style with a 6 unreplied bangs dismantling of Getafe FC with Neymar scoring a brace to stretch their unbeaten run to 37 games.

Getafe set itself up for sacrifice with an own goal in the 8th minute when Jodi Alba’s give-and-go pass back to Lionel Messi caromed off the heel of Getafe defender Juan Rodríguez and into the net.
Messi blew an opportunity to extend the tally few minutes later when Velazquez conceded a penalty after a poor challenge on Neymar in the box and is shown a yellow card but Messi’s penalty kick was saved by Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.
That miss, however, unleashed the dragon in Barça as kept banging in goal after goal beginning with Munir El Haddadi 19th minute strike.
The Catalans didn’t have to wait long before upping their lead to 2–0 in when midfielder Andrés Iniesta picked out the streaking Messi.
Messi in turn found Munir El Haddadi with a delicately played, one-touch volley and the 20-year-old striker, though tightly marked, headed home from out in front just beyond the six-yard box.
The landslide victory was well underway even before halftime, as Man of the Match – Neymar – and Messi all found the net to stake Barça out to a 4–0 lead before the half time.
It was a similar pattern in the second half with the Brazilian striker grabbing his second before Arda Turan executed a fine bicycle kick following a corner.
The result moves Luis Enrique’s side 11 points clear at the top of the table and gives Arsenal’s defence plenty to think about going into Wednesday’s second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
The victory gives FC Barcelona a provisional 11-point lead in the table over second-place Atlético Madrid, who hosts Deportivo later on Saturday night.
